How do I reach the slopes?
The Torrent gondola base station is about 800 m from the hotel — a 12 to 15 minute walk through the village. No car or shuttle needed. Ski depot right at the base station.
Ski school and rental?
The Swiss Ski School Leukerbad and several rental shops are only a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Details on courses, prices and rental on leukerbad.ch — on request we're happy to reserve for you.
What if the weather is bad?
The thermal spa, wellness area and saunas are included in the room rate and can be used without limits — 4 thermal pools (36–44 °C), 5 saunas, cold pool. In a storm or with poor visibility on the mountain, the day is spent in the water instead of on the slopes — at no extra cost.
Is the ski pass really for every day of the stay?
Yes. With 5 nights Sunday–Friday you receive the 5-day Torrent ski pass (Mon–Fri), with 6 nights Sunday–Saturday the 6-day Torrent ski pass (Mon–Sat). The pass is handed over at arrival on Sunday and is valid from Monday morning.
How do I travel to Leukerbad?
The summer Mobility Ticket Valais deal only runs until 31 October and is not available in winter. Travel: by car (A9 motorway exit Susten, then by post bus or your own car from Susten/Leuk), or by public transport to Leukerbad bus station (train to Leuk, post bus from there). We're happy to help with details at booking.
